United Way agencies have been struggling to meet the increaseing requests for food from the community. The Salvation Army of Richland Co. has seen 86 % more cases using their food pantry than just two years ago. The United Way is calling upon the commuity to donate non-perishable food items, toiletries, canned goods, cereal and dried pasta mix.
The food drive will be at the South Park and Graham Auto Mall. The food drive will run from 8a.m.-4p.m on Wednesday August 11th.
